What should I wear to court?
You want to make a good impression and dress your best.
For men:
If you have one, you can wear a suit, but judges know that not everyone has a suit in their closet. We recommend wearing something like a button-up shirt or a polo with khaki pants, dress slacks, or a nice pair of jeans with no holes. Pair this with dress shoes or boots.
For women:
If you have a suit, feel free to wear it, or a nice blouse with pants. Khaki pants, dress slacks, or blue jeans with no holes are preferable. You can also go with a dress or a nice blouse with a skirt. For shoes, we recommend a pair of heels or flats.
What not to wear:
- Flip flops
- Hats
- Tank tops
